Hedda Layne invites you to the Belmont on Thursday, August 5th at 6 p.m. for Music, Prizes and to Share the Love in this fundraiser The Leadership Enrichment Arts Program (LEAP). LEAP, established in 1989, is a unique, award-winning non-profit organization which has worked successfully with hundreds of predominately minority middle and high school students. For almost 20 years, LEAP programs have been a motivating force for African Americans and other underserved youth, assuring them that achievement is a viable option.

So…as a lot of you know I play at The Belmont every 1st and 3rd Thursday. It is such a great venue to be able to share my talent under the stars. But tonight,.. I got to experiance being an audience member. I was blown away by Courtney Sanchez. She also had a special guest Kenny Williams.. a long time friend of hers in visiting from NYC. There was so much talent tonight on that stage. Just letting you all know that I feel a close connection with Courtney and so enjoyed her show.! Thank you sky for letting up on rain so we could continue our goodness and joy of the eve. Nite Nite all….

There will be special edition of the Hedda Layne Show at the Belmont this Thursday, July 15, from 10 p.m. to midnight. Experience Hedda’s new ultra-mod stage-lit performance featuring new trip hop beats, dance and urban jazz sounds.

The wait is over for loyal fans of Hedda Layne. The divine chanteuse returns to the Austin nightlife scene on the first and third Thursday of every month, from 7 – 9 p.m. at The Belmont. Fresh off the success of her latest recording, 4PLAY, Hedda and her musical director Troy Lee Warden have put together a new show that reflects the Belmont’s clubby, Rat Pack vibe, interweaving fresh interpretations of Hedda’s favorite standards with new material from 4PLAY.
