Hedda Layne judges Art Erotica
March 25th, 2011Don’t miss this unique event happening on Saturday night, March 26, 2011 at the Seaholm Power Plant at 8:30 p.m. Hedda Layne will be one of the celebrity judges for this art showing.
For over 20 years ArtErotica has been one of the most unique and scintillating art events in Austin. From lust to love, ArtErotica has it all; painted art, sculpture, fabrication, kitsch. It has been dubbed “Austin’s Sexiest Art Show,” by the Austin Chronicle. Come find something to tickle your fancy, including erotic desserts and specialty drinks.
ArtErotica started as a humble art show with big dreams. It was a way for the creative community to raise money for those in desperate need by selling works of art. Friends, lovers, and family came together to help – any way they could. The first party raised merely a few hundred dollars, but every dollar was extremely important for those who needed help with medications and bills then, just as it is today.
Over the years, ArtErotica has grown into quite an experience and quite the fundraiser. The event offers something of interest for everyone; the curious, the clubber, the exhibitionist and the voyeur. Even the art critic who raised a furtive brow walked away with a treasure. THE CONCERT AT LAKE MCQUEENEY
September 21st, 2010Join us on the hillside for a concert featuring Hedda Layne and Ginger Leigh on October 10 starting at 6 p.m. Remember that October 10th is a Sunday, but Monday, October 11 is a holiday – Columbus, Day! The venue is on the property of Mark Seward – Please RSVP to ginger@gleigh.com to get the address which is close to New Braunfels, TX. Also, be prepared with the following: bring a lawn chair or blanket, BYOB, $15 donation per person goes to the musicians and well-behaved dogs on leash are welcome!
There will be complimentary BBQ provided while it lasts! Be sure to let your friends know! The goal is to share Ginger and Hedda’s music with as many music-lovers as possible. Be prepared for a memorable evening on the lawn at Lake McQueeney!
