Hedda Layne and Troy Lee Warden have come full circle, returning to their hometown of San Antonio, Texas, where their musical journey first began.
Together they embrace the timeless elegance of the classic jazz duet, blending Troy Lee's masterful guitar artistry with Hedda's sophisticated and expressive vocals.
Drawing from decades of professional performance experience, Troy and Hedda have built a reputation for creating unforgettable musical experiences that combine exceptional musicianship, warmth, and style.
Their repertoire celebrates the Great American Songbook, beloved jazz standards, and carefully crafted original works, making them equally at home in intimate jazz clubs, upscale dining venues, luxury hotels, private celebrations, and special events throughout Texas.
As recording artists, Troy and Hedda have co-produced and released six commercial albums and have appeared in thousands of live performances across the state. Their career highlights include being selected by the Austin Symphony Orchestra to perform with a 64-piece orchestra during Austin's annual Fourth of July celebration at Zilker Park, featuring orchestral arrangements of "America the Beautiful" and Charlie Chaplin's "Smile."
Hedda's distinguished career has included opening performances for acclaimed recording artist
Oleta Adams and celebrated entertainer Leslie Jordan. In addition to her work as a vocalist and recording artist, she wrote, directed, and starred in a successful one-woman cabaret production for the Austin Cabaret Theatre.
Troy's career as a guitarist, composer, producer, and recording artist includes a memorable performance alongside jazz legend Dizzy Gillespie at the JazzSAlive Festival in San Antonio. He has also produced and co-produced multiple recording projects for fellow artists, bringing his musical vision and technical expertise to the studio as well as the stage.
Beyond their performance accomplishments, Troy and Hedda have dedicated their talents to numerous charitable and community organizations throughout Texas, lending their music to fundraising events supporting the arts, civil rights, health initiatives, humanitarian causes, and other advocacy organizations.

A longtime collaborator and trusted creative partner, Scott contributes across multiple disciplines, making him an invaluable part of the production process. On several of Hedda’s albums, Scott composed lyrics for selected tracks, served as a production consultant on numerous recordings, and created the striking visual graphics that help define the project’s identity—including the design and development of this incredible website.
His unique combination of artistic vision, technical expertise, and creative insight strengthens every aspect of the team's work.
Scott has collaborated with Hedda & Troy since 2000, when his talents as a graphic artist, manager, and videographer first became part of their creative journey. Over the years, he has played an integral role in the growth and evolution of the Hedda Layne brand, contributing countless ideas, designs, and creative solutions that have helped shape its distinctive image and enduring success.
